Shariati High School

This building has a plan in the shape of a rectangular square and in the east and west direction, and its main entrance is towards the south. This school is located in the old Yokhari Bashi neighborhood (Bala neighborhood) and after Tawfik Elementary School and Saadat National High School, which was established in 1304 AH. Shamsi, it is considered the third and largest secondary school that was built during the Pahlavi era and the end of its construction dates back to 1313 AH.

Historical cultural building of Shariati School: It is currently located in the northeast side of the old structure and in the center of the current city of Zanjan, next to one of the main streets (between Saadi Crossroads and Rasht Gate).
 
The style and construction of the building is inspired by the traditional style of a veranda with a rectangular plan and has an area of ​​30,820 square meters, the basement is 3,000 square meters, which has 18 classrooms, four office rooms, as well as two laboratory units, a workshop, a library and a hall. There are gatherings and storage, all of which show the greatness and importance of the building in its cultural and educational form.
The historical cultural building of the Shariati school has a simple brick covering on the exterior, which covers the entrance spaces and windows with a trestle arch, the decorations of which reach its peak in the only porch of the school.

There are symmetrical altars on the inner body of the porch with brickwork and rich decorations on the surfaces of the porch in the form of mosaic tile technique and a combination of brick and tile decorated with various geometric motifs and abstract plant paintings on the roof and exterior influenced by the art school of tiling in the late era. Qajar gave a special effect to the porch and the entrance facade of the building, the decorations in the interior are applied on plaster plaster covering and include plant images (flowers and bushes) and nastaliq lines with decorative technique on the lattice, feather and mesh along with the frames on the part Some of the surfaces of the ceiling and walls and the entrance space have been executed, which contain poems in Persian language with high moral and literary themes.

Also, two tiled inscriptions on both sides of the assembly hall on the north side of the interior decorated with Salimi and Khatai paintings, which include poems in Nastaliq script, add to the beauty of the interior courtyard, which, considering the decorative indicators, has a special cultural status. In the contemporary century, it has made this historical work worthy of attention and having historical and cultural value.
