Haj's dadash bathroom

Haji Dadash bath, which is one of the oldest historical buildings in Zanjan, is the only stone pillar bath in Zanjan, the main dome of which is placed on four stone pillars, which were carved by Hamadan artists in their time. The most beautiful part of this traditional bath is its interior space. In this part, the main arch is placed on stone columns decorated with cubic column heads and a spiral body (combined column type). This building is now used as a traditional teahouse.

The location of the building and its name:
Haji Dadash bath, which is one of the oldest historical buildings in Zanjan, is the only stone pillar bath in Zanjan, the main dome of which is placed on four stone pillars, which were carved by Hamadan artists in their time. The most beautiful part of this traditional bath is its interior space. In this part, the main arch is placed on top of stone columns decorated with cube-shaped column heads and a spiral body (combined column type). This building is now used as a traditional teahouse.

This building, which is estimated to be approximately 150-200 years ago, was built by an architect named after the bath itself. This bath is located in the middle of the Zanjan market, which has been the center of trade and local culture since the Safavid era. And it has maintained this centrality until now. This building is located right in front of Ayatollah Qaemi Mosque, which is one of the oldest and most important mosques in Zanjan. "From the east side, it is adjacent to Malik Palace, which is currently being renovated as a cultural heritage of the province. It is its revival. And from the north side, it is limited to local residential houses, and from the west side, it leads to the laboratory of Prof. Hasabi and Seidler alley.

This building is located at a distance of about 400 square meters below the building in a land of over 2500 square meters, which can be accessed from three points:
1- From the side of the main door which is in front of Ayatollah Ghaemi Mosque.
2- From the shop that used to be the fueling place for the bath and now it has been turned into a shop and is located about 25 meters from the east side of the main door.

There is no exact information about the main builder of the building, but according to some elderly people, a person named Haj Dadash is the builder of the building, and since then the above bathroom has been known as Haj Dadash.

Building entrance:
The entrance to the building is in the north side and facing the mosque which is located on the south side. The entrance to the building is through a wooden door with a thickness of approximately three centimeters, the wood of which is made from forest trees. Iron studs have also created beautiful decorations on the door. After the entrance, we reach the vestibule of the building, which provides the possibility of communication and access to Sarbineh.
