Soharin is a part of Surkh Abad protected area, which is located in Zanjan city and northwest of Zanjan city. This valuable area is the habitat of deer, which is one of the rare examples in Iran. The 35,000-hectare plain of Soharin is ecologically a vital habitat for the last surviving Iranian deer. Other animals of this plain are rabbits, foxes, jackals, partridges, chekauks, owls, tarlans, turtles, snakes, all kinds of vultures, golden eagles, black grouses, and partridges. Angelica, willow, gorse, heather, gorse, ivy, heather, in the heights; Rhubarb, artichoke, thyme doubles its capacity and attractiveness.
The climate of the region is dry and cold, which is characterized by the villages of Venang, Valiyaran, Mari, Dagahi, Legahi and Yengjeh. This plain has its beauty in the seasons of the year, but in the middle and late spring, it becomes one of the most attractive areas of Iran for nature tourism with tulips.
The people of the region have kind interactions with animals and a close relationship with the habitat of deer. The main activity of the villagers is agriculture and cultivation of lentils, peas, wheat, barley, watermelon and sunflower; In the field of animal husbandry, breeding of poultry, cattle, sheep and goats, beekeeping and honey production; In terms of horticulture, it is apple, apricot, cherry and cherry.
