Women's clothing
The type of clothing in Zanjan city, especially women's clothing, is simple, beautiful and diverse.
head cover
Three types of coverings are usually used for the head: first, with a cloth called "Pushon", they tightly tie the top of the head and the forehead arch, then, in order to protect the potushon, they wear a "chin-alti" (under the chin). Chandalti is made up of interlocking hooked coins and colorful beads and is wrapped from under the chin to the part of the head. The third cover is "Yashmaq" (Rusoi), which is used to cover the mouth, chin and neck.
Charadh
The scarf measures 1.5 x 1.5 meters and is made of Gozgoz or Harial fabric (silk). This cap is called "Yailiq" in the villages of Abbar and Astagal and "Agh Chargad" in the village of Eidi Balag. Women hold a corner of their scarf in front of their mouth for hijab, which is called "yashmaq".
Qara Yailiq
The size of the scarf is 1.5 x 1.5 meters and it is made of various floral fabrics with a black background. This scarf is only used by the women of Abbar village.
Shawl
A silk scarf measures 1.50 x 1.70 meters and women over twenty-five years old wear it around their heads. This cover was used by the women of Gonbad and Caravanserai villages. Noting that in the caravanserai village, this cover is called "Pushon".
night tent
According to their financial ability, women prepare this cover from colored fabrics. This covering is called "Chadir" in Abbar village, "Chershu" in Gonbad and Eidi Balag villages, "Chershab" in Orta Balag village, "Chershad" in Caravanserai village, "Charshab" in Delgi village, and "Chader" in other places.
veil
The veil was often used in travel and ceremonies. The veil had cloths in front of the eyes and in the front part of the band, and women could tie it at the back of the head. Ruband is called "Orband" in Caravanserai village and "Agh Ruban" in Abbar village.
Outlaw
It is a 1.5*1.5 silk scarf that is tied on the bride's forehead in Urta Balag village.
Upper
The upper body covering is first "jalizqa" (vest) which has no sleeves. The sleeved type of this cover is called "tuberculosis" and is used by investors. They usually wear "Going" under the Jalizqa. Going is slightly taller than Jalizqa and has various and colorful designs. Under the going, they wear a cover called "Toman", which is of two types: a long Toman is called "Shilite" and is usually worn by people over 40 years of age. Short Toman is called "Qasa Toman" and is used by young people.

It is a sleeveless shirt with buttons on the cuffs and a round collar. This shirt consists of two parts, upper body and lower body. The torso of this wide shirt and its sides have slits from the bottom. To decorate the edge of the chucks, they sew fittings and beads around it. The length of the youth's shirt is up to the knee and the length of the old women's dress is a wajb above the ankle.
Tomam (Tonban)
The pleated skirt is loose, and it is sewn around the lower edge to decorate the colored fittings. Toman is fastened in the waist area with a wool band called "Toman Baghi". The size of young people's toman is shorter than that of old women. Tomans are often made from Harial, Nasirieh fabrics.
Patchin
A shirt consists of two parts, upper body and lower body. The upper body is simple and the lower body is wide and pleated and reaches to the ankles. Wearing this shirt used to be common in the village of Delgi and Gonbad.
Pistachio
It is a vest made of velvet fabric and to decorate the collar, it is sewn with coins. Although this vest is open at the front, it is fastened together with three or four buttons. This vest has two slits on the sides of approximately four to five centimeters. There are also two small pockets on the front. This dress is called "Jaltaqa" in Gonbad village and "Jaliqa" in other places.
Yale
Like today's jackets, the sleeved coat is made of silk fabrics in solid colors and has a pocket under the armpit to store coins and money. The length of the yale reaches the waist. They used to embroider coins around the collar.
Archangels
Arkhalik is like a yale, except that its length reaches a little lower than the waist.
Pants
Pants are usually chosen from dark colored and thick fabric. There is another pant called "half leg", this pant is used in parties and travel. These pants are a type of pantyhose and are equipped with socks on the legs.
clogs
In this region, shoes were called "ayaxqabi" and had different types:
dovandi maxmali
It is a heeled shoe, made of leather and almost in the shape of a boot. These shoes were used in ceremonies and travels.
Abhar Ayakh Qabsi (cloud shoes) bharayax.aqabsi
It is a leather shoe with a high heel and it is made in Hamadan city.

Another type is a leather shoe with a medium heel and is often used in travel and events. This shoe is often used by the wealthy classes of society.
Kalish
It is a type of plastic (resin) shoe with a very short heel and is still used by rural women.
Charuq
Another type of slippers for urban women is glittery and has heels, and it is prepared in the form of slippers by the masters of this art in the city of Zanjan itself. The sole of Charogh is made of tanned leather and its top is sewn with Gulabton threads.
socks
Paposhi is made of sheep's wool and is woven in different roles by the village women themselves.
ornaments
The types of women's jewelry are: rings, bangles, and barimaq (several rows of coins and beads), which are made of hooked money coins hanging from a string of beads and consisting of several rows. It goes without saying that the chin (under the chin) is also a kind of decorative element in addition to having a special function.
