In most parts of Zanjan province, there is no special annual calendar, but the solar months are known as government months.
However, in rural areas, the length of the year is measured based on the agricultural calendar. The names of the seasons with their Persian equivalents: Yaz (spring), Yai (summer), Paiz (autumn), Qish (winter).
