The cultural and ethnic connection of the people of the province with the Azeri-speaking people on one hand and its connection with the Kurdistan and Gilakneshin regions and Tehran on the other hand has provided the ground for the formation of a special type of local music known as "Zanjani music". But it should be remembered that there is a deep connection between Zanjani music and Azerbaijani music. In most villages of Zanjan province, wedding celebrations begin and end with the lovers' performances. Currently, the lovers of Zanjan are enriching the gatherings and celebrations of the people of the province with their charming songs and stories. In addition to that, official music is also played in some of the people's celebrations, especially in urban areas, and the Afshari song and Bayat Turk song are among the original music of Zanjan region.
