Sheikh Ashraq (Sheikh Shahabuddin Suhravardi)
The great Iranian sage and philosopher, whose full name is (Abul Fattouh Yahya Ibn Habash), was born in the city of Sohraward (in the jurisdiction of Khodabande city) near Zanjan in 549.
He learned wisdom and principles in the cities of Maragheh and Tabriz from Sheikh Majaduddin Jili, and became the leader of his age in jurisprudential and philosophical sciences, and by using his high intelligence and critical mind, he gained access to many truths, because in many He disagreed with the opinion of the ancients, and he used a lot of Zoroastrian religious terms and terms in his terms. The fanatics of his people accused him of disbelief and atheism.And the scholars of Aleppo considered his blood permissible and finally managed to get the order to kill him from the famous conqueror of the Crusades, Sultan Saladin Ayyubi, and finally killed him in the year 587 when he was 38 years old. Sheikh Shahabuddin is the greatest philosopher whose wisdom Eshraq reached perfection in his philosophical works, and that is why he was nicknamed Sheikh Eshraq. He is one of the greatest defenders of Khosravani wisdom in Islam, and in fact he is the founder of Eshraq wisdom. . Even though the sheikh is the reviver of Khosravani's wisdom But it does not appear anywhere from the Greek wisdom. He started the philosophy of light (illumination) from the wisdom of Khosravani and considered Plato to be influenced by the wisdom of Khosravani and believed that wisdom begins with the wisdom of Khosravani. slow and reach perfection in the flame of the light of Muhammad (pbuh), but hearing these words was very heavy for the ears of the people of his time, and they called him an atheist and a heretic, and they considered shedding his blood to be lawful, a total of 49 books and treatises in Persian language. and Arabic have been attributed to Sheikh Ashraq, the most important of which are Hikmat al-Ashraq al-Talwihat, Isisyat al-Mashara and al-Mutarahat, Trasalah al-Eshq, Trasalah Awaz Par Jibraeel, Trasalah Aql Sarkh, Safir Simorgh, and Trasalah Yazdan Toght.
