Sadr al-Din Ahmad bin Abdul Razzaq Khalidi Zangani

Sadr al-Din Ahmad bin Abdul Razzaq Khalidi Zangani took charge of the affairs of the ministry in 691 AH during the reign of Gekhato, who became the Ilkhani after Arghun Khan Mughal.

Khwaja Sadr al-Din Ahmad Khalidi Zangani was a generous, knowledgeable and literate man, and that Ilkhan called him the Sadr of the World and granted him full authority. After the death of Gekhatu, the government came to Bayro and removed him from his position and he was engaged in more minor affairs according to the order. When Ghazan Khan came to power, he gave Sahibdiwani to Sadr al-Din Zangani in 696 AH. He was taken and the Ilkhans showed mercy to him and gave him a golden or red decree (Al-Taghma). But in the year 699 A.H., the enemies found an opportunity to speak Chinese in the court and presented some of the Khwaja's property to the king and ignored it. Finally, in the month of Rajab of the same year, he ordered to cut him in half and all his children. was destroyed after his death. One of the important actions of Khajah during his presidency was the introduction of chaw or paper money (banknotes) for the first time in the Ilkhanate government. Later, Ghazan Khan and Al-Jaito (Sultan Muhammad Khodabande) realized the valuable services of Sadr Jahan, and in recognition of his respect, they gave his nephew the position of Qazi al-Qazati and the judge of the city of Qazvin.
